Many of you likely tuned into the television and radio broadcasts on Monday March 22 to review the latest information from the Alberta Government and the Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Deena Hinshaw. As such you are aware that no changes or relaxations to the previous orders have been made. As such regularly scheduled in-person meetings remain on hold until some relaxation is granted.

The two orders in question, CMOH Orders 04-2021 and CMOH 05-2021 are very detailed and cover a very broad spectrum of events and activities. The second order pertained to relaxations that primarily affected sports and performance related activities in addition to restrictions on public participation at said events. The ‘Order’ did not change or modify restrictions under which many essential businesses were continuing to operate.
